Registered Nurse - Neuro Intermediate

The Registered Nurse serves as a leader of the healthcare team at Novant Health. Neuro Intermediate nurses provide care to patients on the unit while maintaining clinical standards and guidelines. This role will coordinate, prioritize, and optimize patient flow throughout the department as well as provide care to the patient directly at the bedside. They will monitor patients and administer medications following provider orders and in compliance with hospital policies and procedures. The RN will also be responsible for reviewing patients charts throughout the day and documenting clinically significant findings while using critical thinking skills to deliver the most remarkable care possible. They’ll also coordinate/facilitate patient transport to testing like CT scan, EEG, and various other imaging departments, and prepping for surgery. We are offering a $15,000 Sign on Bonus and up to $7500 in relocation.

• Education: Bachelor's degree preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
• Experience: One year of relevant experience preferred.
• Licensure/certification/registration: Appropriate state RN licensure required.  BLS Healthcare Provider required. ACLS, PALS preferred.
