Overview

 

The Department of Neurosciences at Novant Health/New Hanover Regional Medical Center (NHRMC) is seeking a MD or DO who is board eligible or certified in Neurology with Critical Care/Stoke  fellowship training or equivalent experience.  We are a Comprehensive Stoke Center, seeing over 1200 patients each year for Stoke.   

The team added a neuroendovascular program which has greatly increased the complexity and acuity of the neuro patients they have seen over the last year. The energetic, collegial team is excited for a neurointensivist to partner with their current neurocritical care-trained neurologist.

 

The Department of Neurosciences is a dynamic group of 10 neurologists, 6 neurosurgeons, and advanced practice providers who strive to lead our community to outstanding neurologic health through state-of-the-art and personalized care

Qualifications

Education: 

  • Graduate of an accredited school of medicine required
  • Completion of an accredited residency program required
  • For specialty physicians - completion of an accredited fellowship program specific to medical specialty

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

  • Current MD license in appropriate state
  • board certification or eligibility
  • current DEA license required
