Novant Health is seeking an Intern to provide support through an educational experience to the administrative team via projects, active participation in meetings, and management of rotation assignments, under the direction of the preceptor within a one-year period, the length of the fellowship.   • Assist with tasks and projects as directed.
  • Extensive data entry.
  • Payment processes and reconciliation.
  • Managing Outlook mailbox and documentation.
  • Provide clerical support to the department.
  • Fulfill all other duties as assigned.

Education:           Enrolled in an accredited college or university (REQUIRED)

Skills Required

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfort with making phone calls.
  • Must be punctual, responsible and dependable.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Proficient typing skills.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task.
  • Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy (many guidelines to reference and reconciliations to perform).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (position will work in MicroSoft Forms, MicroSoft Outlook, and Microsoft Excel extensively).
  • Flexibility and a commitment to Novant Health’s mission, vision and values.
