Overview

Provides and documents assistance to patients with activities of daily living and maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. CSSO CNAs are responsible for providing safe, continuous quality patient care in a variety of settings. The CSSO CNA is part of a market based, corporate float pool team that is assigned to varying units during their shift to ensure that patient care needs are met within the assigned facility. These CNAs possess the skills, competency and qualifications, as well as a requirement to work in all facilities within a defined market (Greater Charlotte (GCM) or Greater Winston Salem (GWSM)). This group shall be known as the Super Pool.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma, required. 
  • Experience: One year in an acute hospital setting, required.
  • Licensure/Certification: Good standing with NA I and NA II, required. Current NAII certification with state BON, required.
  • Additional skills required: Basic computer skills for documentation. De-Escalation Techniques.
