Responsible for assisting with the development, Implementation and evaluation of clinical staff educational needs within the Novant Health Medical Group. Assess, plan, implement and improve methods and processes of education and training in order to enhance staff job performance and to maintain clinical compliance with regulatory and state requirements. Maintains a working knowledge and serves as a resource to ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations including Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, The Joint Commission, OSHA, and other related regulatory agencies.

  • Education:  4 Year / Bachelors Degree Required.
  • Experience: Minimum of four years experience in healthcare industry required. Experience in a physician practice in a clinical or management position preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification: Certification in Professional Healthcare Quality and/or other advanced certification within 6 months preferred.
  • Additional skills required: Consulting, team-oriented, supportive and cooperative attitude. Utilizes appropriate decision making strategies, based on the individual situation: authoritative, consultative, consensus. Exhibits self-direction, independent practice and excellent time management skills. Able to continuously re-prioritize, demonstrate flexibility, and process multiple issues simultaneously. Creates an environment that supports and respects diversity, modeling behavior and language that is inclusive, and nurturing an environment where it is acceptable to discuss differences and issues of diversity. Practices with a questioning attitude.  RN Applicants Preferred.
