The Progressive Cardiac Telemetry Unit is an exciting, fast-paced 24-bed unit that specializes in post procedural cardiac patients including but not limited to watchmen, TAVR, Mitra clip, post cardiac and peripheral interventions, ablations, PPM, NTEMI, and stable STEMI’s.  Our team utilizes an interdisciplinary approach with collaboration from Healthcare Providers, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Physical and Occupational Therapies, and Nursing support.  We serve a population that includes but is not limited to sepsis, diabetes, various degrees of renal failure, congestive heart failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease with non-invasive respiratory support, CAD, and those needing a vasoactive or cardiac specific medication.  Our mission is to improve the health of communities, one person at a time by delivering the most remarkable patient experience, in every dimension, every time.

• Education: 4 Year/ Bachelor's Degree Preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
• Experience: One year relevant experience Preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state Required. Advanced certifications as required per facility Required.
• Additional Skills Required: Appropriate customer service, effective and appropriate customer relations, verbal and non-verbal communication techniques, interpersonal relationship skills, conflict resolution, critical thinking and computer literacy. Advanced training as required by department.
