Novant Health is seeking a Senior Charge Master Analyst to build and maintain the charge description master (CDM) tables for all clinical areas that captures charges for all clinical areas of the organization. Qualifications

  • Education: 4 / Year Bachelor's Degree, required. Bachelor of Science , Bachelor of Arts, Registered Nurse with BS or BA, Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or Registered Health Information Technologist (RHIT).
  • Experience: Minimum five years demonstrated administrative skills in CDM / Chargmaster, Finance, Nursing administration, or Medical records and demonstrated experience working with hospital charging processes. Demonstrated knowledge of IT system architecture, required. 
  • Additional Skills (required): Extensive knowledge in Revenue Cycle processes. Ability to interface with all levels of the organization effectively. Experience manipulating the underlying IT infrastructure to achieve outcome goals. Incorporating regulatory requirements and performing data input and analysis and QA. Extensive experience in effective problem solving skills, project management skills, and conflict resolution skills. Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel as well as PowerPoint and Word. Ability to travel to all other Novant Health locations regularly. Ability to drive/travel to multiple locations/facilities as needed.
  • Additional Skills (preferred): Experience in Mulit-Hospital organizations; Experience in EPIC; Experience with nThrive (formerly MedAssets) CDM Master.
