Performs data accuracy audit activities for appropriate department. He/she will be responsible for conducting audits, performing data analysis, and developing statistical reports for all department activities to appraise data accuracy. Critical to this position is the ability to understand scheduling, registration, charging, coding, billing, and collection processes to expedite quality auditing and data analysis.   • Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. 
  • Experience: Minimum three years Revenue Cycle, required. Minimum two years Revenue Cycle Auditing, required. 
  • Licensure/Certification: CRCR (Certified Revenue Cycle Representative), required. 
  • Additional Skills (required):
    • Competent to work on auditing assignments individual or in a team with little supervision by taking initiative and being self-motivated. Proficient in all workflows of areas assigned to audit, and maintain proficiency by attending team meetings of assigned departments. Additionally, will be responsible for gaining proficiency in additional related area(s)/department(s) workflows.
    • Proven analytical ability and organizational skills necessary to organize/assess quality assurance based on data analysis. Must possess the ability to identify and communication/educate on process improvement opportunities for assigned teams/departments, as well as create presentations for needed education. Will be responsible for reviewing and finalizing standard operating procedures for assigned departments with limited supervision. Maintains and demonstrates professional competency.
    • Complies and support department leadership on compliance with organization and department policies and procedures.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel), and gains proficiency in the specific applications of their assigned auditing area(s).
    • Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills. Ability to provide positive constructive feedback to customers, work with all levels of personnel, entry level to top management within the organization, and have the ability to coach and mentor staff.
    • Ability to drive/travel to multiple locations/facilities as needed.
