We are seeking an Athletic Trainer to work in a high school setting. The primary responsibilities will be to evaluate, plan, direct, document, and administer programs of athletic training & rehabilitation. Performs supervisory duties and participates in continuing education. Works closely with other disciplines and specialties within the department and facility. Communicates with physicians and other clinical staff, referral sources, coordinates athlete's schedule, treatment programs, discharge planning, and recommends solutions to athlete care problems.

Qualifications

  • Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree Required. Graduate Degree Preferred. Graduate from accredited athletic training program required.
  • Experience: Two years experience Preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current AT licensure in appropriate state with the ability to acquire additional state licenses as required required. Successfully pass NATA BOC exam required.
  • Additional Skills Required: Excellent Customer Service, Written and Oral Communication, basic computer application skills, and ability to multitask. Hold or ability to hold appropriate state licensure. Hold or ability to hold AHA BLS First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor certification.
  • Additional Skills Preferred: Hold or ability to hold CSCS, PES, CES national certification(s).
