Novant Health is seeking an Athletic Trainer to work in a secondary school setting, with cross-coverage as needed at community sporting events. The primary responsibilities will be to evaluate, plan, direct, document, and administer programs of athletic training & rehabilitation. Performs supervisory duties and participates in continuing education. Works closely with other disciplines and specialties within the department and facility. Communicates with physicians and other clinical staff, referral sources, coordinates athlete's schedule, treatment programs, and recommends solutions to athlete healthcare problems.

Education: Bachelor's Degree Required Master's Degree Preferred Graduate from accredited athletic training program required

Experience: Two years experience. Preferred

Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current AT licensure in appropriate state required Pass NATA BOC exam required

Additional Skills Required:Excellent Customer Service, Written and Oral Communication, basic computer application skills, and ability to multitask. Hold or ability to hold appropriate state licensure. Hold or ability to hold AHA BLS First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor certification.

Additional Skills Preferred: Hold or ability to hold CSCS, PES, CES national certification(s).
