Qualifications

  • Education: High School or GED required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree preferred. 
  • Experience: Minimum two years in a foreign language medical interpreter health care role required. 
  • Licensure/Certification: NBCMI 
  • Additional skills required: Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation, competency testing and the ambassador onboarding program. Successfully complete departmental oral and written translation assessment. Ability to drive/travel to multiple facilities/locations as needed. 
  • Additional skills preferred: Successful completion of medical terminology training within 1 year of hire. Ability to drive/travel to multiple locations, facilities as needed.
