Family Physician

Novant Health Lakeside Primary Care - Afton is currently recruiting a lead family medicine physician for their practice located in Concord, NC. The ideal candidate is a dynamic, enterprising, experienced clinician interested in growing a practice, community engagement and driving quality care. A proficiency in operations would also be valuable. In partnership with the clinic administrator, the lead clinician will be responsible for creating and sustaining aligned clinic culture, reducing unwarranted clinical variation, financial planning, oversight of day to day clinic operations and driving strategic change. The lead clinician will also serve as the connection point for bidirectional communication between clinic providers and medical group leadership.

Education: 

• Graduate of an accredited school of medicine required
• Completion of an accredited residency program required
• For specialty physicians - completion of an accredited fellowship program specific to medical specialty

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

• Current MD or DO license in appropriate state
• Board certification or eligibility
• Current DEA license required
