To provide tax compliance services and tax-related support functions for all of Novant Health’s for-profit and not-for-profit entities.  After analysis of data integrity, create and assist with the compilation of information and preparation and timely remittance of the various tax returns and filings utilizing appropriate software and technology tools. Assist Technology Coordinator, peers, and managers in pursuing continual process improvements; relentlessly pursue ideas that add value to the department and the organization. Assist peers and other departments with special projects and analysis, as needed. Performs clerical duties as required.   • Education: Bachelor's Degree, required. Master's Degree, preferred.
  • Experience: Three to five years experience in tax services, required.
  • Licensure/Certification: CPA license or eligibilty, preferred.
  • Additional Skills Required: Excel experience. Must have good interpersonal and organizational skills and the ability to concurrently manage multiple tasks.
  • Additional Skills Preferred: Lawson experience highly desirable. Experience in preparing complex corporate multi-state returns. Experience in preparing healthcare and/or not-for-profit returns (Form 990). Degree in Accounting, Finance or similar
