Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
  • Experience: Minimum of four years of experience in a cardiology office practice required. EMT, paramedic experience accepted.
  • Licensure/Certification: Certified Cardiac Tech Cert. in 6 months after hire, required. Grad from Exercise Physiology Program or CMA/RMA certification, required.
  • Additional Skills (required): Ability to successfully complete generic and department specific skills validation and competency testing. Knowledge of EKG’s, Treadmills, Holters, Event Recorders, and Pacemaker checks. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and cardiology. Ability to establish effective working relationships and communicate effectively.
