Established group expanding in the Coastal Region with multiple practice sites including ambulatory Endoscopy Centers (ASC), a new Novant community hospital opening in 2025 with planned additional endoscopy rooms. Attractive call, current GI hospitalist model in place at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.  A team of eight APPs assists with consults, follow-ups, etc. on the hospital service and practice setting.  Opportunities for resident teaching. ERCP/EUS welcomed but not required. Employment model guarantee salary year one, followed by full productivity model.

Qualifications

Education: 

  • Graduate of an accredited school of medicine required
  • Completion of an accredited residency program required
  • For specialty physicians - completion of an accredited fellowship program specific to medical specialty

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

  • Current MD license in appropriate state
  • Board certification or eligibility
  • Current DEA license required
