Medical Oncologist: Gastrointestinal Specialist — Novant Health Cancer Institute

 

Novant Health Cancer Institute is recruiting a full-time medical oncologist to lead our GI Malignancy program in Charlotte, NC. The prospective candidate should be comfortable working with colorectal surgery, hepatobiliary surgery, radiation/oncology and other GI specific subspecialists. A strong interest in clinical research as well as experience in early phase (Phase I) clinical research preferred, but not mandatory for this position. The applicant would join the existing specialists who are committed to providing the remarkable experience to our patients. This is an exciting leadership opportunity in a growing program that is rising to meet the needs of the evolving health care environment at a fully Accredited Integrated Network Cancer Program that includes the full spectrum of comprehensive support programs.

Qualifications

Education: 

  • Graduate of an accredited school of medicine required
  • Completion of an accredited residency program required
  • For specialty physicians - completion of an accredited fellowship program specific to medical specialty

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

  • Current MD license in appropriate state
  • Board certification or eligibility
  • Current DEA license required
