Overview

Digital Products and Services(DPS) team members are responsible for securely managing information systems throughout their lifecycle, including knowing what information systems are within their scope of responsibility, understanding what sensitive data is stored, transmitted, or processed on those information systems, enforcing the security principles of least privilege and least functionality, knowing what events may constitute an information security incident, and understanding their role in security incident response activities.

 

The IT Service Continuity Analyst Senior is responsible for maintaining and providing oversight to the tools used to facilitate the IT Service Continuity Management (ITSCM) processes. This includes but is not limited to BIA and DRP governance. In addition, they are responsible for coordination of testing DPS disaster recovery (DR) plans for their effectiveness to restore service within designated recovery time and recovery point objectives is a key responsibility.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 2-4 years’ experience in disaster recovery and business continuity required. Minimum 2-4 years’ experience in disaster recovery and business continuity preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification: Disaster Recovery Institute International (DRII) professional certifications required. Business Continuity Institute (BCI) certification required.
  • Additional Skills (required):
    • Minimum any one from the following organizations
    • Disaster Recovery Institute International (DRII) professional certifications:
    • Associate Business Continuity Professional (ABCP);
    • Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP);
    • Master Business Continuity Professional (MBCP);
    • Business Continuity Institute (BCI) certification:
    • Associate Member of the BCI (AMBCI);
    • Specialist Member of the BCI (SBCI);
    • Member of the BCI (MBCI);
    • Fellowship of the BCI (FBCI);
  • Additional Skills (preferred): Ability to think logically and analyze complex problems in an organized and systematic fashion. Ability to work independently with strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate tactfully in tense and stressful situations. Ability to work effectively as a team or individually
