Novant Health Pediatric Endocrinology is looking for a Clinical Care Partner (CNA or EMT)  to coordinate and assist the provider and nursing to ensure safe quality/cost effective service and care for the people within the practice population. Provides and documents clinical care and maintenance of a safe and clean environment, under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse/APP or physician. The Event Medicine Emergency Medical Technician must have the ability to provide basic life support to patients from neonate throughout the geriatric years in the pre-hospital setting at special events. Must function as a patient care provider in conjunction with a Registered Nurse and a Paramedic in accordance with approved departmental policies, procedures and protocols.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
  • Experience:   2 years Acute experience for CNA 1 required. 1 year CNA2 or EMT preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification: Completion of NA I and NA II programs or NA I + 4 Obtained at a NH hospital or current credential for EMT in appropriate state required. NA registry as NA I in good standing. And current NA II certification with required state required.
  • Additional Skills (required): Ability to successfully complete generic and department specific skills validation and competency testing. Basic computer skills for documentation.
