Assistant Nurse Manager - Operating Room

The OR at Novant Health Charlotte Orthopedic Hospital has an opportunity for an Assistant Nurse Manager (RN) with OR experience to join our remarkable team.

The Assistant Nurse Manager will serve as a healthcare team leader by:

• The Operating Room Assistant Nurse Manager is responsible for the daily operations of the operating room including managing the schedule and staff assignments.
• Coordinate the delivery of patient care in the Operating Room through the Nursing Process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation coordination of patient care.

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, required. Graduate Degree, preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of two years of clinical RN experience, preferred. Prior demonstrated nursing leadership, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required. Unit/Dept Specific Required Certifications.
• Additional Skills (required): Successful completion of generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Ability to successfully complete Leader Education & Training.
