Qualifications

  • Education: Graduate Degree required. Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling or related field with special emphasis in clinical counseling and assessment techniques.
  • Experience: Minimum of one year of counseling experience required.
  • Licensure/Certification: Clinical license LCSW, LMFTA, or LPC or eligible at time of hire. Full licensure obtained within two years required.
  • Additional Skills (required): Possesses demonstrated skills in assessment, group, and individual therapy. Ability to accurately assess for grief-related distress, including but not limited to depression and anxiety. Ability to provide clinical services to a wide range of cultures and levels of employment. Ability to keep accurate and appropriate records. Provide short term, individual, group and family counseling as needed. Ability to perform well in a work environment dependent upon mutual support, a high degree of independence, and a strong team concept. Skilled at presenting to groups and facilitating group interactions. Must be able to manage stress due to highly confidential nature of work.
