Novant Health Medical Group is looking for a compassionate, caring, and team oriented Advanced Practice Provider to join a busy Electrophysiology practice that serves four acute and five ambulatory locations across the Greater Charlotte market. We are looking for someone to provide inpatient and outpatient electrophysiology and general cardiology care to patients under the direction of practice physicians in Novant Health Heart and Vascular Institute. Our practice values consist of being patient-focused, and providing compassionate, outstanding patient care in a supportive, nurturing, team environment. We are recruiting a provider that is committed to the overall cardiac care of the people in our community and surrounding areas. This position is full-time with occasional weekend coverage responsibilities compensated with time off the following week. 2 years of experience in adult cardiology (IP/OP) required. Experience working with electrophysiology patients preferred.
Our expert clinicians offer the full array of ablations, including for atrial fibrillation (AF), supraventricular tachycardia (SVT), and both ischemic and idiopathic VT. We also perform the full spectrum of device implants, including subcutaneous implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs), leadless and conduction system pacing, and left atrial appendage occlusion devices.

Education: Master's Degree required. Either a graduate of an NCCPA accredited physician assistant program, or NP or post Master’s NP program required.
Experience: At least two years of experience with adult cardiology (IP/OP) and experience working with Electrophysiology patients preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current PA or NP license in appropriate state required. NCCPA or registry with state nursing board, ACLS, BLS, DEA registry required.
Additional Skills Required: Ability to successfully complete generic and depart-specific skills validation and competency testing; Thorough knowledge of diagnosis, and pharmacology; Thorough skill in physical assessment and management of chronic illness; Communication skills, both verbal and written; general computer knowledge is preferred; ability to work independently, yet in collaboration when necessary. Ability to use problem-solving, decision making, creative and communication skills. Dedicated to patient rehabilitation and self-care.
