Overview

The Social Worker provides educational / support services to patients, families, and staff. The Social Worker also provides discharge planning, crisis intervention and information / referral / coordination services to inpatients. The social worker is also involved with patient advocacy, risk management and ethical concerns in relation to the provision of direct services. On-call responsibilities may be required.

Qualifications

  • Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree in Social Work required.
  • Experience: Minimum two years professional Social Work experience required, preferably hospital / health related.
  • Additional Skills (required): Ability to drive/travel to multiple facilities/locations as needed
