Overview

Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem is seeking a full-time night shift Women’s Unit RNThis is a great opportunity to gain new skills and grow your skill-set within this specialty!! 

 

Unit Information:

The Women's unit takes care of high risk Antepartum and Postpartum patients as well as GYN surgeries. Patients are admitted to this unit should they require specialized in hospital care for themselves and baby prior to delivery and postpartum. Experience with electronic fetal monitoring, postpartum Magnesium drips, vaginal deliveries less than 20 weeks gestation and GYN surgical is preferred but will consider candidates without experience if passionate about this Women's Health!

 

This unit has great teamwork, self-scheduling and great partnership with our interdisciplinary team of nurses, CNAs, MURs, Hospitalists, MFMs, social workers, and lactation consultants.

 

Schedule:

This is a FT, 36 hour per week night shift position. The hours are 7P-7A, including rotating weekends and a holiday rotation team, and some call as needed.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree preferred.
    • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
  • Experience: One year relevant experience preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state required. See essential functions for further requirements
