Overview

Monday-Friday positions with 8 hour shifts!

We are actively interviewing for experience, motivated Radiology RNs in our fast-paced Level-III Trauma Center. Looking for nurses with a positive attitude and self-motivation.

Presbyterian Medical Center Interventional Radiology is a 640 licensed bed hospital with a very active Neuro Stroke Program and is very progressive in all aspects of Interventional Medicine.  Oncology, GYN, Neuro and Spine are all procedure specialties that candidates should have experience in or be willing to become competent in these areas.  Candidates should be comfortable in working with Interventional Radiologists, Neuro-Radiologist and Neuro-Surgeons. 

 

Job Responsibilities:   

  • Pre, intra, and post care given to patients undergoing neurovascular, peripheral vascular, and interventional procedures
  • Pre, intra, and post care given to patients undergoing CT and Ultrasound patients undergoing invasive procedures
  • Cardiolite Stress Test Procedures
  • Collaborates with physicians and other team members to assess, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with current policies and procedures. Strong team skills are a must
  • Call requirement

Qualifications

  • Education: High School or GED Required - IF RT(R): Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technologist Program resulting in certification OR graduate of an accredited Radiological Technologist Program and currently registered by ARRT. IF RN: Graduate of an accredited Nursing program with current RN license
  • Experience: 1 year of experience Required - IF RT(R): Minimum of one year Cath Lab or Interventional Procedures. 1 year of experience Required - IF RN: Minimum of one Year Critical Care, Cath Lab, or Interventional Procedures.
  • Licensure/Certification: IF RT(R): ARRT Required. IF RN: State RN license Required.
  • Additional Skills (required): Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skill validation and competency testing. IF RN: Pass Cardiac Dysrhythmias Test.
