Overview

Novant Health is seeking NHMG Float Pool LPNs to serve as a member of the healthcare team at Novant Health by establishing an authentic personalized relationship with the patient and their chosen support system, collaborating with other team members to provide care that promotes optimal health. The LPN utilizes best scientific evidence and compassion to assist the care of the patient during their health journey. The Licensed Practice Nurse accepts accountability for provision of care, as part of the RN led team, in accordance with the current policies and procedures. These LPNs possess the skills, competency, and qualifications, as well as the requirement to work in all clinic locations within a defined region/section of the market: Greater Charlotte (GCM), Greater Winston-Salem (GWSM), and Coastal. This group shall be known as the NHMG Local Resource Team – LPN.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. Graduate of accredited practical nursing program, required.
  • Experience: One year of relevant medical office experience, required. 
  • Licensure/Certification: Current LPN licensure in appropriate state, required. 
  • Additional Skills (required): Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Has the ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs. Has knowledge and skills necessary to modify care according to patient(s) age.
