Overview

This position works with Revenue Cycle Services leadership as well as NHMG clinic leadership to identify opportunities for improvement in operational efficiency by developing and implementing workflow strategies. Works with third party vendors in development and implementation of new and existing services and workflows. Partners with Education and Dimensions to develop educational materials for RCS and clinical staff.

 

The Supervisor of Revenue Cycle Process Improvement Analysts is responsible for overseeing all related projects, reporting, implementations, and workflows that the process improvement team is responsible for.

 

The Supervisor of Revenue Cycle Process Improvement Analysts is also responsible for assisting with overall departmental planning, trending analysis, and evaluation of the department’s performance.

Qualifications

  • Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree preferred. Associates Degree Preferred or Related Experience. High School or GED required. 
  • Experience: Minimum one year experience working directly within Revenue Cycle or a minimum 1 year in a Required Supervisory role within Revenue Cycle required. 
  • Additional skills required:
    • Educational planning, performance consulting, outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, skill in exercising initiative, judgment, problem-solving and decision making, giving and receiving feedback, team building, safety and infection control, regulatory/governing standards, corporate and regional policies and procedures, office equipment, knowledge of computer systems and applications, knowledge of human resource management practices including supervision and staff development. Must be able to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously with excellent time management abilities.
    • Must possess supervisory skills for accepting responsibility, making decisions, directing, delegating, and supervising team members. Excellent communication and organizational skills required. Ability to investigate, analyze and resolve issues at a high level. Ability to work efficiently and accurately and to organize and plan work. Flexibility and adaptability to work additional hours and to work under stress. Must be able to work effectively with individuals of all cultures and levels of authority. Excellent negotiation and, problem solving skills
  • Additional skills preferred: Claim edit/rejection, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access database.
