Overview

The Manager Imaging Education and Clinical Support is responsible for the strategic direction and operational leadership of high-quality patient and clinical education, as well as clinical support, across all NH imaging facilities. Responsible for enterprise integration initiatives, clinical programs, quality improvement, patient satisfaction, and regulatory compliance. Maintains corporate relationships within Novant Health and externally. Other responsibilities include strategic planning, development, and implementation of operational plans, as well as collaboration with physician leaders, facility leaders, and service line leaders.  Team member will also be directly involved with content and report out of Clinical Excellence committee meetings.

Qualifications

  • Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree from an accredited Radiologic program, required. Graduate Degree from an Technology Program, preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated leadership experience, required.
  • Licensure/Certification: Current in one of these accreditations ARRT, RDMS, CNMT registration and in good standing, required.
  • Additional skills required: Current and future trends/practice in area of responsibility: regulatory and governing standards, policies and procedures, information systems and software used in area of responsibility, equipment used in performing assigned duties, application of safety and infection control policies and procedures, skills in interviewing and selection process, implementation of competency, feedback, development and progressive discipline processes, teambuilding, conflict management and interpersonal relationship skills, principles of adult learning and teaching methods, decision making, project leadership and consultation, delegation and communication skills, understanding of customer needs and expectations, ability to exceed customer expectations, knowledge of research and EBP methodologies and analyses, and ability to write effectively.
