Overview

Digital Products and Services team members are responsible for securely managing information systems throughout their lifecycle, including knowing what information systems are within their scope of responsibility, understanding what sensitive data is stored, transmitted, or processed on those information systems, enforcing the security principles of least privilege and least functionality, knowing what events may constitute a cybersecurity incident, and understanding their role in security incident response activities. The Pharmacy Vision is to deliver optimal medication management across all dimensions of care, every time, and that each Pharmacy employee understands how he or she contributes to the health system’s vision of achieving that commitment to patients and families. Each Pharmacy employee will be essential in ensuring that Novant Health Pharmacy exists to ensure safe, effective, and affordable medication use in our communities, one person at a time. Coordinates implementation of new and revised functions with all IT personnel, vendors, consultants, and customers demonstrating problem solving, education, quality assurance and effective communication.

Qualifications

  • Education: Graduate Degree, required. PharmD or B.S. Pharmacy.
  • Experience: Minimum three years' experience implementing electronic medical records
  • Licensure/certification/registration:PharmD License. Current license to practice pharmacy in applicable state(s) and in good standing with the state(s) Board of Pharmacy, required. Must obtain EPIC certification, required.
  • Additional skills required: Ability to deal with a number of tasks simultaneously. Strong attention to detail. Communicate efficiently, both written and verbal, with technical team as well as managers and end users. Skilled at problem solving. Demonstrated ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems. Strong organizational skills. Possesses an understanding of computer system capabilities to address process requirements.
