Overview

PART TIME WEEKEND POSITION (7A-7P, SAT/SUN) AT LEVEL II TRAUMA CENTER!

WEEKEND DIFFERENTIALS APPLY

 

Assists the anesthesia team prior to, during, and after patient procedures in any location anesthesia is provided across Novant Health. Proficient in sterilization, maintenance, packing, and resupply of the most complex anesthesia supplies and emergency equipment. Has significant patient contact while assisting in procedures and works collaboratively with the anesthesia team, nursing staff, and off-site resources.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
  • Experience Required: 1 years of previous experience preferred but not required, preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification: RQI Responder – must obtain within 90 days of hire, required.
  • Additional Skills Required: Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Understands and practices the importance of proper cleaning and disinfecting of anesthesia equipment; inventory and ordering ability in order to meet supply and demand; some knowledge of anesthesia equipment and medical terminology.
