Overview

Novant Health Stroke clinic is seeking Provider Schedule Coordinator. This position will maintain the provider coverage/call schedules. This position will help maintain provider coverage for all the inpatient hospitals in GCM, including neurosurgery, balancing schedules for 103 providers across 8 clinic and 6 hospital locations. Assess and implement schedule changes with the approval of the clinic administrators and lead physicians with consideration of least disruptive alterations to the practice while maintaining physician coverage in the hospital and office. Notify and coordinate with the appropriate scheduling staff when patients need to be rescheduled due to a schedule change requested by a physician. Evaluate office and hospital demands for each physician and provide appropriate office/hospital availability

Qualifications

  • Education: High school or GED, required.
  • Experience: 2 years experience, required.
  • Additional skills required: Ability to muti-task. Flexibility in assignments and prioritizing. Able to work in a matrixed environment. Strong ability to communicate in person and in written form. Sense of urgency, Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Additional skills preferred:
    • Experience with EPIC template building.
    • Experience with technology such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Outlook.
    • Experience working with hospital call calendars and processes.
