Overview

Senior Nursing Hiring Manager 

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm 
  • Department: Corporate 
  • Location: Hybrid Role- Charlotte Market 

Key Details of Role: Drives operational initiatives that will ultimately improve talent acquisition effectiveness and candidate experience and to support the team to attract, source, and hire diverse clinical talent that reflects the communities that Novant Health serves. Responsible for many key initiatives for programs and creates business value through processes, infrastructure, and partnerships across the organization. Creates and implements scalable, repeatable processes across the Novant Health system that allow for consistency and improved operational effectiveness, as well as focus on optimizing existing programs and processes. Leads programs that are data-driven and guides change management across the organization. Builds structure into processes and works with the recruiting leadership team to provide the analytical support needed to support strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, BSN, required. Masters Degree preferred. 
  • Experience:Minimum four years nursing experience in acute care, to include screening, interviewing, and hiring practices, required. Previous experience in recruitment or Human Resources, preferred.
  • Licensure/certifications/registration:  Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required. Board Certified in nursing leadership, preferred.
  • Additional skills required: 
    • Analytical and results driven.
    • Detail oriented, self-directed, effective problem-solving and decision-making skills, excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills, good intra and interdepartmental relationships. Creative thinker. Working knowledge of applicant tracking system. Ability to influence people, along with people skills to achieve outcomes that result in a win-win for applicants as well as the departments served.
    • Current and future trends/practice in area of responsibility; regulatory and governing standards, policies and procedures; information systems and software used in area of responsibility; equipment used in performing assigned duties; application of safety and infection control policies and procedures; teambuilding, conflict management, and interpersonal relationship skills; decision making, project leadership and consultation, delegation and communication skills; understanding of customer needs and expectations and knowledge for improvement to exceed customer expectations; ability to write effectively. Ability to drive/travel to multiple locations/facilities as needed.
