Overview

This position provides training and education for team members of the Novant Health medical group. Assesses, plans and implements education and training to meet the learning needs, and enhance job performance of NHMG team members.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree, required. Master’s degree, preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of two years’ experience in education and training, required. Minimum of three years healthcare experience, preferred.
  • Licensure/certification/registration: Licensure/certification as required for field, required.
  • Additional skills required: Knowledge of current and future trends/practice in education and training. Experience in development of learning plans, principles of adult learning and teaching methods/models, team/classroom facilitation. Design and develop informal and formal learning solutions using a variety of methods. Assist with identification of learning needs. Identify appropriate learning approaches. Design curricula, programs, and/or learning solutions. Demonstrate adaptability and model personal development. Demonstrate awareness of technologies, use office and AV equipment effectively. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite software. Build trust, communicate effectively, and provide project leadership and consultation. Ability to travel/drive to multiple locations/facilities as needed.
  • Additional skills preferred: Coaching and/or facilitator certification.
