Overview

The regional marketing manager will be an experienced, consumer marketer with strong strategic marketing and planning background. The ideal candidate will develop a clear point of view on market positioning, objectives and needs for use in strategic planning, campaign development, and other major marketing initiatives. Further, this candidate will engage with local market leaders to share marketing initiatives and local impact, pressure test needs, relay campaign and project progress, and to process inbound marketing support requests for team consideration and recommendation. Reporting to the director of demand generation and working closely with cross-functional teams, this role will establish and implement best practices across marketing programs and campaigns.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with business functions to identify opportunities for growth; being a “curator of customer intelligence” and champion for customer-centered decision-making.

Employ research to generate insights into consumer needs, wants and expectations to identify new opportunities, strategies, messages and building brand loyalty.

Provide thought leadership and best practices for the development of plans and budgets.

Ensure campaigns are creative, compelling, carry a consistent message, and amplify the brand while serving as the brand ambassador.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree, required. Master's degree, preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum five years experience in marketing communications planning and implementation, preferably in an organization where marketing directly impacts revenue. Experience in marketing, strategic planning and managing multiple projects. Healthcare experience, preferred.
  • Additional Skills Preferred: Ability to proactively identify client needs and shape a clear strategic vision for marketing activity, communicating ideas and recommendations to both client and marketing/PR staff and vendors. Self-directed and motivated. Proactively approaches issues taking ownership to drive resolution. Ability to understand the big picture and how each line of business impacts overall company goals. Strong teamwork skills, adept at working with multiple team members to achieve goals across many lines of business. Ability to deliver compelling presentations using data and metrics by using effective storytelling to communicate plans and results. Strong project management skills with an ability to multitask and manage competing priorities. Travel to designated submarkets for in person marketing assessments and consultation as needed.
