Novant Health Medical Group is looking for a compassionate, caring Surgical Oncology Advanced Practice Provider to join an established, growing GYN Oncology practice in Winston-Salem, NC. Responsibilities will vary depending on surgical and clinic caseloads of the physicians but will be a hybrid of clinic, inpatient rounding, and surgical assist. Our providers are fully supported with a dedicated, onsite team of experienced nurses, pharmacists, and administrative staff as well as a full-service infusion center. We are a robust, innovative practice that continues to grow and continue to expand patient access to cutting edge treatment in cellular therapies and clinical trials. RNFA certification required for NP's.
Our expert clinicians provide the latest treatments or management of Gynecologic Oncology conditions including ovarian, uterine, endometrial, cervical, and other women’s cancer. We are 2 hours north of Charlotte, 2 hours to the east of the North Carolina Mountains, Asheville is less than 2 hours to the Southwest and Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill are about 2 hours to the east where you can catch some good basketball and larger concerts. We are within 4 hours of the North Carolina beaches and less than 3 hours to Smith Mountain Lake in Virginia, a popular summer destination. We have an international airport in Greensboro and Charlotte.

Education: Master's Degree required. Either a graduate of an NCCPA accredited physician assistant program, or NP or post Master’s NP program required.
Experience: One to three years of experience in Hematology/Oncology preferred. RNFA certification required for NP's.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current PA or NP license in appropriate state required. NCCPA or registry with state nursing board, BLS, DEA registry required.
Additional Skills Required: Ability to successfully complete generic and depart-specific skills validation and competency testing; Thorough knowledge of diagnosis, and pharmacology; Thorough skill in physical assessment and management of chronic illness; Communication skills, both verbal and written; general computer knowledge is preferred; ability to work independently, yet in collaboration when necessary. Ability to use problem-solving, decision making, creative and communication skills. Dedicated to patient rehabilitation and self-care.
