  • Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM)
  • Schedule: This is a full-time 40 hour position. It will have flexibility with the schedule, but this candidate needs to have availability and presence for night shift and some weekends. This will be discussed more during an interview. 
  • Requirements: Recent past Labor & Delivery experience required for this position.
  • Department:  Labor, Delivery, Recovery & Postpartum unit (LDRP)- RN's on this unit do both L&D and Mother/Baby
  • Location:  Kernersville Medical Center, Kernersville NC 
  • Unit Info: This unit opened in March of 2024, it's a low risk, 12 bed LDRP unit. Patients labor, deliver & recover in the same room. This team consists of RN's, Surg Techs, Lactation Consultants, and a dedicated OB Anesthesiologist as well as a 24/7 neonatal NP and respiratory.

Qualifications

  • Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Graduate Degree, preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of two years of clinical RN experience, preferred. Prior demonstrated nursing leadership, preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required. NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required. Unit/Dept Specific Required Certifications.
  • Additional Skills (required): Successful completion of generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Ability to successfully complete Leader Education & Training.
