Overview

Part of the new Matthews Medical Center expansion project, we are seeking a dedicated, organized, and engaged Assistant Nurse Manager to help lead a 24 bed Medical/Surgical Unit supporting post-surgical patients.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, required. Graduate Degree, preferred. 
  • Experience: Minimum of two years of clinical RN experience, preferred. Prior demonstrated nursing leadership, preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required. NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required. Unit/Dept Specific Required Certifications.
  • Additional Skills (required): Successful completion of generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Ability to successfully complete Leader Education & Training.
