Relocation up to $7,500!

  • Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM)
  • Schedule: This is a full-time 40 hour/week position (night shift).
    • It will have some flexibility with the schedule, ideally want a candidate who can do four 10's but willing to entertain five 8's for the right person. If four 10's, start time will be between 5P-7P, candidate can have some flexibility to come in between 5P-7P time frame. If five 8's, hours will be 11P-7A. Call required every third weekend. Schedule will be discussed more during an interview. 
  • Requirements: At least 3 years of recent mother/baby experience 
  • Department:  Mother/Baby
  • Location:  Forsyth Medical center, Winston-Salem NC 
  • Unit Info: This unit cares for post-partum moms & babies (couplets). The ANM will be responsible to provide clinical and administrative leadership at the unit level and will have between 40-50 direct reports.

Qualifications

  • Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.  Graduate Degree, preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of two years of clinical RN experience, preferred. Prior demonstrated nursing leadership, preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required. Unit/Dept Specific Required Certifications.
  • Additional Skills (required): Successful completion of generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Ability to successfully complete Leader Education & Training.
