Novant Health is hiring for a Hemodialysis registered nurse for the day shift for our New Hanover Regional Medical Center location in Wilmington, North Carolina. 

 

  • Schedule: PRN, 0.1 FTE, 8 Hours per 2 weeks, day shift, 7a-7p

About the Hemodialysis department:

We’re seeking a registered nurse to join our small but mighty Renal Dialysis team! Our close-knit team is dedicated to treating critically ill patients in an inpatient setting. Working in pairs, the nurses closely monitor the patients on dialysis and hemodialysis, working steps ahead to prevent any possible complications. 

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required. 
  • Current valid North Carolina nursing license required. 
  • BLS certification required. 
  • One-year relevant or adjacent experience preferred.

If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.

Responsibilities

  • Monitors patients during their treatment.
