Overview

Novant Health is seeking a Fire Alarm Technician. The Fire Alarm Technician, works with a team of technicians performing regulatory required testing and maintenance on fire alarm systems and their related equipment at facilities throughout Novant Health. The Fire Alarm Technician is expected to take direction from the Fire Alarm Technician Sr in performing these duties, ensuring the safety of all occupants within the facilities. Since this is a highly regulated environment, documentation is a critical function associated with this position. Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED, Required.
  • Experience: 1 year experience working with fire detection and signaling systems, Required. Healthcare experience, Preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification: National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) level I minimum, Required.
