Overview

The Manager Corporate Energy and Sustainability, will be responsible for analyzing current energy usage and developing Novant Health’s energy and environmental resource management plans. The Manager Corporate Energy and Sustainability will provide technical support in the development of system energy programs, energy management technologies and energy policies.

 

The Manager Corporate Energy and Sustainability leads the Novant Health Corporate Sustainability Team, evaluating and recommending system sustainability policies, projects and process. The Manager Corporate Energy and Sustainability develops sustainability performance metrics and provides leadership in ongoing quality, productivity and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required.
  • Experience: Minimum of five years of experience in management, required. Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing, implementing and monitoring energy management programs, required.
  • Licensure/Certification: Certified Energy Manager (CEM), required. Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM), preferred.
  • Additional Skills (Required):
    • Knowledge of energy management program. Knowledge of HVAC and lighting systems. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Knowledge of conservation and sustainable development, including waste management, resource and water conservation and environmental reporting metrics.
    • Ability to build internal relationships and effectively communicate with stakeholders.
    • Ability to manage large datasets.
