Digital Products and Services team members are responsible for securely managing information systems throughout their lifecycle, including knowing what information systems are within their scope of responsibility, understanding what sensitive data is stored, transmitted, or processed on those information systems, enforcing the security principles of least privilege and least functionality, knowing what events may constitute a cybersecurity incident, and understanding their role in security incident response activities.

Clinical Informatics Analyst identifies clinical practice workflow and process issues and concerns and provides leadership and guidance to define system and process requirements that will optimize system performance and technology utilization by clinical practitioners.

· Works directly with physicians, nurses, and other members of the interdisciplinary team to evaluate current EMR functionality and recommends innovative ideas, processes or procedures for enhancements, additions, modifications to improve existing processes or technology

· Serves as a resource for daily operations for any issues related to the electronic health record or associated technologies

· Supports new technology implementation or upgrades providing onsite support and guidance thereby enhancing end user adoption

 

· Assists with training curriculum and teaches as applicable to promote increasing adoption of technology, efficient care flows and clinical practice utilizing best practice use of the electronic medical record and associated technologies

· Supports complex systemic analysis reviews and regulatory surveys

· Develop key performance indicators and analyzes data around complex processes, procedures, and outcomes to see continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED, Required.  4 Year / Bachelors Degree,Preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of relevant clinical healthcare experience, Required.
  • Licensure/Certification: Healthcare Licensure required ( RN, LPN, RT, PT, etc), Required. Obtain Epic Clinical Informatics Certification within 6 months of hire, Required. 2 years acute RN experience, Preferred.

    Effective decision-making skills-Effective analytical, problem solving and diplomacy skills.
     
    Travel up to 25 % in NC and SC
