Overview

Provides system-wide support to ensure the development, implementation and maintenance of order sets to promote desirable patient outcomes. Note: The Corporate Order Set Team (COAST) uses “order sets” as a collective term that includes Dimensions and non-Dimensions order sets, Dimensions therapy plans, protocols, and standing orders. Executes order set enhancements and changes approved by DLTs.
 

 

This position will be Remote.  Applicants must be located in the followng states:  NC, SC, GA, VA, AL, FL, NV, MI, WY, IN, LA, MS, MO, OK.

Qualifications

  • Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, Required. BSN, Required.
  • Experience: Minimum of five years clinical experience as registered nurse, Required. Order sets, guidelines development and implementation experience, Preferred. 5 years acute care nursing or Epic Orders experience and regulatory knowledge. 
  • Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, Required
  • Additional Skills (required): Excellent verbal and communications skills. Displays excellent computer, writing and editing skills. Demonstrates the ability to write clearly and concisely, and in a manner that diminishes risk and provides a clear concise guide for best practices. Ability to work collaboratively with other health care professionals utilizing a consultative helpful approach and manufacture change without authority. Ability to lead order set discussions as a proficient team facilitator. Ability to organize and determine work priorities and delegate appropriately. Consulting, team-oriented, supportive and cooperative attitude. Utilizes appropriate decision making strategies: authoritative, consultative, and consensus. Exhibits self-direction, independent practice and excellent time management skills. Able to continuously re-prioritize, demonstrate flexibility, and process multiple issues simultaneously. Creates an environment that supports and respects diversity, modeling behavior and language that is inclusive, and nurturing an environment where it is acceptable to discuss differences and issues of diversity. Has a questioning attitude.
