About the Cardiac Rehab department:

We’re seeking a registered nurse to join our Cardiac Rehab unit at Scotts Hill! As a registered nurse in our unit, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care. You will conduct thorough assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and monitor patients' responses to treatments and exercises.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required.
• Current valid North Carolina nursing license required.
• BLS certification required.
• One-year or more of ED or cardiac experience, preferred.

If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.

• Assess patients’ information and symptoms.
• Engages the interdisciplinary team in planning individualized care.
• Coordinate and assist with the team to ensure proper oversight of exercises, programming, education and treatment.
