    Novant Health is seeking a Charge Entry Auditor. This team member will audit and monitor charges entered by providers to ensure correct billing. Let Novant Health be the destination for your professional growth.

    Qualifications

    Education: High school diploma required. Associates degree preferred.

    • Experience: Previous working experience in medical business office preferred.
    • Licensure/certification/registration: CPC preferred.
    • Additional skills required: Must possess: excellent communication and organizational skills, sufficient knowledge of account inquiry and analysis to investigate and evaluate situations, supervisory skills for accepting responsibility, decision-making, directing, delegating, and supervising personnel, flexibility and adaptability to work in a constantly changing environment, good working knowledge of computer systems, excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills. Must have ability to: operate all equipment, work efficiently and accurately, plan and organize work, work overtime hours as well as deal with continuous stress, and work effectively with individuals of all cultures and levels of authority. Knowledge of insurance and handling of claims (including medical necessity and pre-existing conditions). Maintains and demonstrates professional competency in the use of all computer systems and departmental equipment.
    • Additional skills preferred: PC, word processing, and spreadsheet skills.
