    Responsible for properly managing compliance activities for Novant Health to ensure that all work activities fulfill the

    purposes and responsibilities established for the department. Assists and advises departments, facilities, and medical group

    clinics in developing efficient and effective internal controls. Assures that resources are efficiently and effectively employed,

    and assures that all work conforms to department standards.

     

    Qualifications

    Education: Bachelor's Degree Required Master's Degree Preferred

    Experience: Minimum of eight years of healthcare compliance experience Required

    Licensure/Certification/Registration: Cert in Healthcare Compliance (CHC), MBA, MHA, JD, or other masters degree in specific area of expertise. Required.

    Additional Skills Required: Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Experience in compliance auditing. Extensive computer skills required. Able to communicate clearly, make oral presentations to senior management, and prepare concise detailed written reports. Interacts with all levels of management and staff and senior officers of the company.
