Novant Health is looking for experienced Clinical Research RNs or Oncology RNs to join our Cancer Studies Clinical Reseach Team!
Hours: M-F 8 am – 5 pm. Our department has a hybrid model. In-person attendance at the office, cancer hospitals and market medical centers is required with flexible remote workdays. On-boarding and training sessions are conducted on site.
Job Summary:
The Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC RN) is a clinical research professional working under the direction of their Novant Health leader and the principal investigator.
Clinical Research Coordinator RN (Developmental Therapeutics) assists with the maintenance of participant management on Phase 1 research/clinical studies. You will work closely with Novant investigators and sponsors to ensure protocol compliance and the safe screening, enrollment, and management of patients on oncology clinical trials. You will be a critical participant in data collection and data entry ensuring data quality and integrity.

You Will:
- Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care or arrange for the provision of appropriate care for adult oncology patients.
- Demonstrate the knowledge and application of clinical research workflows in clinic settings.
- Demonstrate compliance with clinical research regulations and knowledge of protocol design.
- Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to utilize clinical trials management software, electronic medical records, and electronic data capture systems.
- Collect human subject information for clinical trials by reviewing patient charts, databases, and other sources.
