Accountable to the Senior Vice President, FP&A, this role advances Novant Health’s strategic goals and objectives, including growth, expansion, diversification, and new capability development, by supporting M&A, Strategic Investments, and Financial Planning, Analysis, and Reporting on behalf of NHE. The VP, whose activities compliment and align with Novant Health and NHE’s broader corporate development strategies and objectives, influences and supports the development of NHE’s strategic priorities and works closely with Novant Health and NHE leadership to assemble, develop, and retain the appropriate resources to execute on the company’s strategic plans.
The VP is responsible for supporting NHE’s inorganic growth strategy, including identifying, evaluating, and executing mergers, acquisitions, other forms of business combinations, divestitures, and strategic investments. Additionally, the VP is responsible for supporting NHE’s Financial Planning, Analysis, and Reporting activities, including budgeting, forecasting, performance monitoring, financial reporting, portfolio and risk management, managing NHE’s utilization of Novant Health’s corporate shared services, and initiatives to expand NHE’s capital capacity.

The Vice President, NHE Operational Finance (“VP”) is required to lead and perform duties across multiple aspects of our business, as well as serve as a key financial leader within Novant Health Enterprise and system leadership. This position is the primary operational finance leader for NHE in core and growth markets.
