We are at 39 bed telemetry unit providing the following care: - Telemetry monitored and unmonitored patients. - IV antibiotics, blood administration, tube feeding, lidocaine drips - Anticoagulants, pain management, blood sugar administration - Chest tubes, wound drains, NG tubes, wound vacs, wound dressing changes. - Care of urinary catheters and PICC lines   Everyone’s position is important to us, and we look forward to celebrating each other. Rowan Medical Center - Medical Surgical Oncology RN Do you have a passion to work with a remarkable team and are you seeking a career that will challenge you to never stop short of remarkable? Then this is the position for you. Come join a remarkable team where quality care meets quality service, in every dimension, every time.  #JoinTeamAubergine   We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical Oncology Unit at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center.   The Medical Surgical unit has a total 36 beds and has around a 6:1 patient ratio. We serve the adult/geriatric population with both medical and surgical diagnosis. Day to day you would be working with General medical-surgical and post-op care. Care is provided along with medical telemetry monitoring, wound care, IV initiation and maintenance, anticoagulation therapy, foley care and management, continuous oxygen therapy, PCA administration and more. RNs will assess, medicate and communicate with IDT as needed. Perform neuro checks and stroke scales as indicated once certified.
